Borders continues to have superior perks and discounts for people who sign up for their email service. They offer a good coupons and discounts on their books, DVDs, CDs and other goods. This continues to be my favorite email service. Don't forget to check out the sections on children's books and activities. They also do a good job including the whole family and a variety of interests with their coupons and advertising. They have good coffee also.

The Seattle's Best Coffee website loads amazingly slow. The after all that wait you just see a blurry coffee cup coming at you. Fortunately it doesn't "spill".

Starbucks

Starbucks has revamped its website since I last visited. They've made some great improvements as it loads faster and is easier to navigate.

They've added a new promotion, a free beverage on your birthday if you register at this link:

Unfortunately you will need a Starbucks card and account to do this. I haven't tried this yet. It looks like there is a cost involved besides the set up time. No free lunch here or as it seems truly free beverage.

Has anyone tried this? Is there a hidden cost for the card, other than customization?
