It was great! I wanted something a little different with barbecue sauce. The burger was huge and flavorful. The burnt ends put it over the top with the black-peppered bacon.  Crispy onion straws, melted cheddar mayonnaise and the fantastic Whiskey River® BBQ Sauce  rounded out- literally, It was huge. I could not finish it in one setting.

This year I took a friend and we celebrated his new job and my birthday together.

He had the "Banzai Burger". which is another of my favorites.

I tried ,"The Mad Live Burger". It was fantastic! I really enjoyed the cheddar-parmesan crisp with the candied bacon, jalapeno relish and avocado. This was besides the other great stuff including their perfectly cooked burger, marinated tomatoes, red onions and a perfect brioche bun.

Starbucks

Starbucks has revamped its website since I last visited. They've made some great improvements as it loads faster and is easier to navigate.

They've added a new promotion, a free beverage on your birthday if you register at this link:

Unfortunately you will need a Starbucks card and account to do this. I haven't tried this yet. It looks like there is a cost involved besides the set up time. No free lunch here or as it seems truly free beverage.

Has anyone tried this? Is there a hidden cost for the card, other than customization?
