There weren't any discounts or freebies listed at the Wonka site and no mention of any coupons in the newsletter. At least they didn't have an annoying non working captcha like the other candy company.

The site is slow to load but made to be fun. The theme music is fun and you can turn it off if you like.

Schakolad :(

Schackolad has a website but there appears to be no coupons, no discounts and no freebies. I was unable to sign up for the newsletter to see what was there because they had a captcha set up that was not working. There was also no audio component for that spam protection for persons who use screen readers. I am wondering here why if you aren't giving out any freebies you have so much security?

The Hallmark sign up program Crown Rewards sent out a coupon today for $40 off of one item. This may vary because the email specified a local store.

Off topic but a great sale is that Rossetta Stone is having a sale where some of their products are a whopping $125 off! For those of you that don't know, Rossetta Stone is a company that specializes in helping people learn different languages.

The Seattle's Best Coffee website loads amazingly slow. The after all that wait you just see a blurry coffee cup coming at you. Fortunately it doesn't "spill".

Borders- 30% off any item

Borders is running a coupon special for their email members. It is 30% off any item. That is one of the best promotions that they run. In general Borders does a very good job making sure their are useful coupons in the email for those who have signed up and wish to buy something at their bookstore.

Petco has been doing well keeping up useful sale emails. They currently have free shipping, some toys at 50% off and a contest. The contest asks for stories about if you pets have been naughty or nice. They are fun to read, come with a plug on products of course and generate some good web traffic.

Toys R US emails have been very disappointing over all. They send a special email of a sale that lasts one or two days with no lead time on it.

EToys used to have really great deals. They have not been as good the last few years.

Toys R Us has a site at http://www.toysrus.com There is a clearance tab at the top. Unfortunately it is unwieldy to use.

I did not like the website over all. It tries to do too much and its not easy to find things.

The surprise on the site is a RSS feed for product safety and recalls. I thought that was a super feature for the website.
