Ruby Tuesday- Free Birthday Burger

Ruby Tuesday restaurants have an email newsletter that you can sign up for located here:

You can get a free "hand crafted birthday burger". I don't know what that is but freebie burger sounds great to me.

This week in email newletter-land...

Scooter's has been disappointing in that they have sent a coupon less than 24 hours before it expires and another, the welcome one, three days before it expires.

Dave's Famous sent a nice coupon that expires in a month that gives you a free dessert.

Ruby Tuesdays sent a buy one entree and get another free coupon.

KFC sent sent a link to nine coupons! I haven't compared them to any flyers yet so that will be interesting later to do and see how they compare.

Chili's sent a joining coupon for free chips, salsa and queso if you purchase an entree. We tried that and it was very good and ample enough to be an appetizer for a family of four.

Hardee's-$1.00 Bologna Biscuit Combo

Hardee's changes their online coupons.

Today it was $1.00 off a bologna biscuit combo.

Cheddar Barrel- No Freebies Found

No freebies or discounts I could find at Cheddar Barrel but I did find some free online games for kids.

Click on the fourth icon from the top. It is red and says "Fun N Games".

They have a newsletter, elsewhere, but no notes on if there will be any coupons in the future.

I've signed up for it and will post here if I get anything good in the email.

Quiznos

A word of warning to you MSG sensitive folks. They have monosodium glutamate in some of their foods. What's worse, if you ask the employees, not all of them have been trained on this topic so they can give you the wrong answer.

They offer a free cookie on your birthday if you sign up for their email newsletter. Other than that there is no mention of any coupons, discounts or freebies.

TGIF Fridays

It looks like TGIF Friday's has some great coupons and perks, when you sign up for their "Give Me More Stripes" recognition program.

The site states that after you sign up, you immediately get a free coupon for a dessert or appetizer and a one time free pass to the head of the line.

It also states that after spending a hundred dollars you receive a coupon for free food.

This is by far the best restaurant discount freebies I have found online to date. It looks like there's another reason to say... Thank God It's Friday.

Applebee's- No Coupons and No Freebies :(

I checked out Applebee's, a competitor of Chilli's, and did not see any online coupons discounts or freebies.

If anyone, knows where to find any please let me know.

Chili's: Free Chips and Queso

Chili's Restaurant is running a promotion when you sign up for their email club- free chips and queso!

It's a good week to go to Borders Books!

Tabasco Sauce

If you join their e-mail newsletter, you can print the promotional coupon and should get other coupons in the future according to their site.

Popeye's Fried Chicken

Popeye's has their coupons linked to a restaurant locator page. You go to the below and pick the part of what part of the world you want to go get that great chicken.

Dunkin Donuts

Starbucks

Starbucks has revamped its website since I last visited. They've made some great improvements as it loads faster and is easier to navigate.

They've added a new promotion, a free beverage on your birthday if you register at this link:

Unfortunately you will need a Starbucks card and account to do this. I haven't tried this yet. It looks like there is a cost involved besides the set up time. No free lunch here or as it seems truly free beverage.

Has anyone tried this? Is there a hidden cost for the card, other than customization?

Kentucky Fried Chicken Coupons

KFC has online coupons you can print at http://www.kfc.com/coupons/ageverification.asp

They also have an email club at http://www.kfc.com/emailclub

I did not see anything special for birthdays and you need, unfortunately, to register for both.

It would be better if they ran active promotions each week online and specials for persons who visited their site. That could keep the web traffic flowing and interest higher.

They should also make the move that other fast food chains have made online to have a bright and friendly kid's sections with a few games and pages to color...and the occasional free parfait.

For those of you with children, Webkinz has been a big success by taking advantage of online games for kids.
